KQVM-610AII Vertical Machining Center

Product Highlights

The KENT CNC KQVM-610AII Vertical Machining Center is designed for high-speed, high-precision machining with significant improvements over its predecessor. The machine structure has been optimized using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to ensure greater rigidity and stability during high-speed operations. A triple-point clamping and support system enhances pallet stability and surface finish quality. The Z-axis stroke has been increased by 1.97″ (50 mm) to accommodate larger workpieces and 4th-axis applications, while the use of high-quality components, such as a high-rigidity spindle and German-made linear guideways, ensures long-term durability and consistent performance.

The KQVM-610AII also features an upgraded APC (Automatic Pallet Changer) system powered by an electric motor rather than a hydraulic system, making it more energy-efficient and easier to maintain. Its roller gear mechanism reduces required torque and improves launch smoothness. Table loading capacity has doubled to 880 lbs (400 kg) x2, allowing for heavier workpieces. The ATC (Automatic Tool Changer) has been redesigned with a faster angular encoder system, a new deceleration ratio (from 1:10 to 1:7), and a higher-output motor, cutting tool change time from 3 seconds to just 1.6 seconds. Rigidity across the X, Y, and Z axes has been increased by more than 50%, contributing to superior machining stability. Additional thoughtful design features—like a raised concealed pedal, collection cabinet, and ease of daily maintenance—make the KQVM-610AII a highly efficient and user-friendly vertical machining solution.
